Delicious time in Isfahan

Where does a tourist (from Iran or abroad) go to taste local Isfahani foods in cities other than Isfahan?

IMNA reporter asks: Is there a choice? Can you recommend them attractive places? Have you ever thought of Food Tourism?

Food is not just a nutrition source. Taking local food into consideration is in fact gifting identity to the local culture which has its roots in a nation’s economy, social, and culture.  

Foods can carry some cultural messages and form a society’s eating habits and its food culture in whole.

So let us have a deeper look at the importance of food and eating experiences. We have to admit that today world has imposed a variety of food cultures on societies, while we have not paid great attention to the expansion of our own local food.

It is now time to pave the ground for tourists and people of Isfahan to experience more home-made foods of Isfahan.

We need to make considerable efforts to spread food knowledge and traditional recipes in Isfahan in order to gradually open up new opportunities for eating local food of the city. This theory will then result in supplying more diverse foods to other cities and countries as a widespread business.

Isfahan, therefore, needs to develop distinct cooking-style recipes which are incomparably better than world greatest kitchens in terms of good tastes and standards. Such new styles require exciting kitchens with unique interior design, tasteful Isfahani decoration, relaxing lighting, libraries with miscellaneous collection of books, DVDs, TV cooking shows, fully furnished kitchens, nice dishes, workers in local costumes of Isfahan, memorable music, impressive concerts, and tempting menus.    

All above mentioned features should be followed throughout the world, rather than in Isfahan only.  

We are all expected to try to associate our city with different seasons, purity, freshness, plainness, and morality. This would be possible by reflecting all the features in meals and food packages. There is a need to relate good tastes with the recent science on health and welfare, and also to base the cooking styles on the images, atmosphere, and memories of our city.
