100 KW Solar Power Plant now operational at ISTT

Persian Danesh, a settled company at Isfahan Science and Technology Town (ISTT) with the financial backing and investment of Persian Foolad and together with the support of ISTT implemented a 100 Kilowatt Solar Power Plant on the roof of one of ISTT’s multi tenant buildings “Fanafarini 2”, situated in its S & T Park (Science & Technology Park). This power plant aims to increase and encourage the use of renewable energies within ISTT.

IMNA quotes from the Public Relations of ISTT: The Solar Power Plant has the potential capacity to generate 100 Kilowatts of electricity, or 210 thousand Kilowatts of electricity per year. The power plant consists of 322 Solar Panels with the capacity of 310 Watts and two 50 kilowatt Inverters. With this power plant becoming operational at ISTT has reduced its carbon footprint by 150 thousand kilograms.

In this project, Parsian Danesh relied on the support of Persian Foolad, a private company established with the intensions for international trade and domestic distribution of permissible products, joint production with private partners and the provision of technical assistance for them.

ISTT has endeavored to become a pioneer in the use of alternative clean resources in the generation of power and electricity in the Science and Technology community and also hopes to not only promote this outlook amongst its peer organizations but within the industrial community of its neighboring towns and cities as well.
