Necessity of codifying healthcare laws for the disabled

The newly elected mayor of Isfahan announced that improving the life quality of Isfahan inhabitants is a goal of the urban management; and making discriminatory regulations are on the agenda to remove the obstacles in the way of the disabled.

IMNA News Agency quotes Qodratollah Nowrouzi at his official meeting with the faculty members of Hamburg University: I am pleased that you were satisfied with your trip to Isfahan, since this historical city enjoys numerous cultural heritage making it known as ‘Half of the World’.

He added: Isfahan holds sisterhood with Freiburg in Germany; so the two sides have many cultural and academic ties. “We hope to pave the ground to develop such relationships between Isfahan and Hamburg too”, the mayor voiced.  

“We are seeking to enhance the citizens’ life quality”, the elected mayor expressed, stating: “all humanity must pay great attention to the right of the disabled. Great efforts, therefore, are scheduled to be made in order to remove any hindrance in the way of their further improvement.”  

The high-ranking official warned that Isfahan is home to a number of mentally & physically handicapped individuals who do not deserve to be deprived of their civil rights.

Mentioning that Isfahan has joined the 2006 Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities, Nowrouzi confirmed: We hope that the two universities of Hamburg and Isfahan Medical Sciences can broaden interactions on meeting the needs of people with physical impairments.

He further considered the meeting as a starting point for bringing about blessings, and said: changing the urban management will create great evolutions regarding improving civil rights.

He finally reminded: “the earlier said goals lead us through establishing a research team between Isfahan and Hamburg to eliminate the problems of the disabled people and accordingly codify the law of Citizenship Health.
