Foreign flights land in Isfahan instead of Tehran

Six foreign flights landed in Shahid Beheshti International Airport in central Iran because the runway of Imam Khomeini International Airport in western Tehran is under repair.

The foreign flights were from Greece's Athens, Qatar's Doha, the UAE's Abu Dhabi and three from Turkey's Istanbul, public relations department of Shahid Beheshti Airport in the central Iranian city of Isfahan reported.

All flights, as the report said, landed in Isfahan at 04:30 hours local time (00:00 GMT).

About two hours later, the flights left here for Imam Khomeini International Airport after the runway opened there.
