Rouhani: Gov't to prepare plans, resolve problems

IRNA – President Hassan Rouhani said on Tuesday that today Iran is not worried about further sanctions or adversary resolution; rather currently it faces different problems such as shortage of water and environmental issues.

In a televised speech on Tuesday night, he added that today the type of problems has differed and proper planning is needed to counter them.

Of course, the people are more prepared than before and the situation is different from that of the past and calm and peace prevails in the society.

Rouhani won a landslide on May 19 elections to extend his mandate for another four years. He named his ministers to Majlis which gave a strong approval for them.

As to the Cabinet nominees, he said that all of the ministers are familiar with the strategies of thee government as they were either ministers earlier or served as deputy ministers.

Hailing the capacities of the cabinet, he said that the cabinet includes younger members and its capacities are higher than the previous one.

Rouhani also said that he was not under pressure during picking the ministerial nominees, but he held counseling sessions with the heads of all factions.
