As IMNA reports, Javadi granted his thanks to the City Council new members and all those who had invited him to take the post of mayor, and said: I was eager to accept the mayor post due to my past solidarity with the staff of Isfahan municipality; now, however, some personal reasons and my interest in national areas of work do not let me accept this responsibility.
“I, as an Isfahani person with great interest in the development of the city, promise to assist all the city council members with the election of the new mayor for the city of Isfahan”, Javadi assured.
