Comprehensive Urbanization System minimizes face-to-face meetings

Deputy of urbanization & architecture of Isfahan municipality pointed out: establishing the comprehensive urbanization and income system in Isfahan municipality has made a dramatic change in the urbanization system in addition to saving people’s time, cutting traffic and face-to-face visits to the municipal organs.

Jamaladin Samsam-Shariat as the mayor’s deputy addressed IMNA reporter: running the system of comprehensive urbanization and income was a real risk which was taken by the municipality to clarify and rule the law. He made the remarks in association with the 64th program of “Every Week, A Few Openings”, inaugurating the first phase of the comprehensive, smart, consolidated urbanization system and the municipality’s income.

He added: first phase of the earlier mentioned project has been operated in all 15 districts of Isfahan based on which the citizens have now access to all urban development projects. Such projects were fully confidential until two years ago, today however people have 24-hour access to them with the option of comparing them with those of the previous years.

Samsam-Shariat later appreciated the doubled efforts of municipal personnel to run the system and continued: the project would have never been executed without the great efforts of Isfahan mayor, head of city council and its members, urban managers and IT/ICT Organization of Isfahan City Government (FAVA).

Now citizens are able to receive construction licenses, inquiry and certification licenses at any time they wish, he confirmed.

The official then informed citizens that the municipality can also evaluate the urban agents’ observations through the newly established system, judging how many files are under examination and how much time-consuming they are.

He further hopefully announced that the new system will pave the ways to manage the city information, so that Isfahan will soon transform into a smart city. “We are at the beginning of the path though”, he reminded and asked for all the non-municipal organs’ aid to step towards a smart city and unit management of city information.

Face-to-face visits will decrease through obeying such systems and official corruptions will minimize to zero, also traffic and air pollution will greatly get influenced as a result, deputy of the mayor observed.

Samsam-Shariat finally ended his speech with congratulating people on the new system and announced that the system acts based on the regulations and bills approved by the City Council and the circular letters sent by the interior ministry.
