Isfahan University of Technology promotes in Leiden Holland rankings

Having a promotion of 42 grades compared to the year 2016, and according to scientific authority criteria, Isfahan University of Technology was placed in the list of 902 world's best universities and the sixth grade in the country in Leyden Holland ranking order.

IMNA news agency quotes from public relations of Isfahan University of Technology: According to the recent report from the Islamic World Science Citation Center (ISC), 18 universities from the Islamic Republic of Iran have been placed in the group of 902 world's best universities, in Leiden rankings of 2017.

Composed of information extracted within the four-year period of 2012 to 2015, this ranking indicates that Isfahan University of Technology which was placed as the 440th in 2015 and the 463th in 2016, has now been promoted to the 421th grade in 2017 according to scientific authority criteria (the amount of scientific products in the top 10 % of the world's premier scientific products)  

Accordingly, Tehran University, Amir Kabir University of Technology, Tehran University of Medical Sciences, Sharif University of Technology, Tarbiat-Modarres University, as well as Isfahan University of Technology have respectively topped in the ranking list of best universities in 2017 based on the amount of scientific products in the top 10 % of the world's premier scientific products.  

As IMNA reports, Leiden’s ranking order, is taken from the results of those researches that scholars of Leiden Holland university conducted relating to the ranking of world's several universities.

Such ranking is published per year and is one of the most valid current rankings regarding the world’s universities rankings. This institute regulates its ranking by two general sets of efficacy indicators and scientific cooperation. It then introduces the names of the world's 500 top universities which have the most scientific publication in the web of science center.

It is worth noting that before Leiden Holland, the Times institute also ranked Isfahan University of Technology in the list of the world's best universities with less than 50 years of antiquity in its 2017 rankings.
