Iran's futsal team crowned Asian champion

In a sensitive game, the Iranian team defeated Iraq in the final to become champion of Asia in under-20 Futsal.

Iran was in the 4th group of the competitions. It defeated teams from Kyrgyzstan, UAE and Mongolia to advance to quarter final where it beat Lebanon to reach semifinal.

After the Iranian team defeated the host country Thailand in the semifinal, it found its way to the final game and won the championship title against Iraq.

Thailand defeated Uzbekistan to stand third.
